Allen Marious Hammer, 46, 512 Adolphus Avenue east, died Sunday, March 13, 1994 at his home.
He was born in Fergus Falls, March 16, 1947, the son of Arthur Nicholas and Laura Lillian Gerhardson) Hammer. He attended school in Fergus Falls and later served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea for two years.
He returned to Fergus Falls in 1969.
On March 20, 1969 he married Janice Faye Hellerstedt in Fergus Falls.
He worked for Miller Brothers Construction and for the past three years he operated his own construction company being joined in 1992 by Wayne Draeger in H and W Construction.
He was a member of the Calvary Free Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur who died in 1967.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; three daughters, Lynn Hammer of Gillette, Wyoming, Lana Hammer of Fergus Falls, Jodi Hammer of Elbow Lake.
One grandson; twin granddaughters; his mother, Laura Hammer; three sisters, Lorene Krebs, Jean(Leonard)Sundblad and Cookie Nelson ; three brothers, Bob(Gene), Dick and Terry Hammer.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Free Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls.
Burial will be in Kongsberg Cemetery, Fergus Falls ,Otter Tail County, Minnesota, USA
