Nancy Ann Gregory, 52, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, after a long battle with cancer. She was born July 23, 1949, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Marian Schulz Beske and the late Raymond Beske. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1966. She then attended Fergus Falls Community College for two years before transferring to Moorhead State where she graduated as a teacher. She taught in Waubun, before moving to New Jersey where she worked at Allied Chemical in Morris Township. On Aug. 21, 1976, she married Rufus Gregory with whom she had two children. She was a devoted mom and loving wife. She enjoyed creating with her own hands. She filled her home with art that expressed her love for creation and family. After moving to Charlotte in 1983, Mrs. Gregory taught preschool at Living Saviour Lutheran Church, where she currently worked as church secretary. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband Rufus; her children, Alexis and Colin; a step-son Gregg (Delores) Gregory of Elkton, Md.; her sister, Diane Anderson of Carver; her brother Russ (Bev) Beske of Fergus Falls; one grandchild, Amara Gregory; and 23 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Living Saviour Lutheran Church, 6817 Carmel Rd., Charlotte, NC 28226-03904.
