RIP John. I remember John as a happy, energetic guy who was friendly to everyone. He was a good athlete and always fun to be around.

I remember John as a friendly, kind person with a great attitude. A great running back and engaged in student activities. RIP John.

I got to know John only in the past few years on FB.
I must say he was very caring to those he knew.
No more hard luck, sadness or pain for John.

John was one of many people who lived in our small rental house in south Minneapolis in the 1970's
I didn't know him in high school, he was a serious person when I knew him in the 1970's.
We read RA Lafferty and antipsychiatry books, while he was working as a psych helper on the wards at one of the local hospitals.
From the 1980's until this last month John and me would talk on phone every few months for an hour or three.
I'm really sad that he's gone
