Hoium, Edna (Robinson)

Age 70 of Ham Lake passed away September 8, 2018.  She was preceded in death by parents Joe and Shirley Robinson; and sister Kathi Robinson Holland.  Survived by husband of 48 years, DeWayne; children Julie (Jason) Grove, and Dan (Elysia) Hoium; beloved grandchildren Lindsey, Abigail and Thomas Grove, Nolan and Colin Hoium.  Edna was born in Park Rapids, MN and grew up in Fergus Falls, MN.  Edna graduated from St. Cloud State College.  She was employed at Anoka County for 41 years, working in various positions and for 20 years as the Financial Services Director in Human Services, where her passion was in providing the best possible service to people in need.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Stepping Stones Emergency Housing.  Memorial service 11:00 AM Thursday, September 13 at Glen Cary Lutheran Church, 15531 Central Ave. N.E., Ham Lake.  Friends and family may gather one hour prior to service at church.  Private interment Barsness Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Glenwood, MN.
