After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, I joined the US Navy. I was on active duty from 1971 to 1984. After leaving active duty I joined the US Navy Reserves where I completed my 27-year career in the Navy. I retired as a senior commission officer with the rank of Captain (O-6).
While on active duty, I was the "poster child" for the adage "Join the Navy and see the world!" I traveled to 18 countries all over the world from Europe, the Mediterranean and the Far East.
When I left active duty in 1984, I was stationed in San Francisco, a place I loved very much and have called home for the last many years.
In 1984, I went to Golden Gate University and earned an MBA degree in Business Administration.
In 1985, a good friend of mine and I bought two laundromats that eventually grew into a commercial laundry that specialized in delivered bio-hardous laundry service. We had medical accounts throughout the Bay Area.
In 2019, my husband Richard and I were married in Vancouver, BC
We purchased a 14-acre horse ranch in Santa Rosa, CA, located about 45 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was located on Sonoma Mountain.
We sold our business in San Francisco and the horse ranch in 2011. We are both retired and now live in our beautiful new home in San Rafael, CA which is about 12 minutes North of the Golden Gate Bridge.
We both are in good health given our age and enjoy going on ocean cruises with friends.

I see we are both military veterans and residents of Californian!
I have lived in California since 1982. I retired from the Navy after 27 years.
I turned 76 last September.

Here's wishing you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I turned 76 last September and doing OK. I am scheduled to have my right hip replaced soon.
I remember many trips to Battle Lake from our summer home on nearby Pickeral Lake.
I hope you and Connie, and all your family are doing well.

Here is wishing you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY and MANY MORE! I had my 76th birthday last September and am doing fine. Waiting for a replacement of my right hip in a couple months.
I remember you and Daryl Soliah coming to our lake home on Pickeral Lake for fun parties back in our younger days! Oh how time flies!

My nephew and his family have a vacation home in Lake Havasu, Arizona. We go there often to visit them. We always enjoy Arizona in the winter when it is not so warm.

Hi Bruce, I wanted to send you this note to say hello! I remember so many good times together while we were at FFHS and the University of Minnesota. Do you remember when you, Daryl Soliah and I went to a drive in movie together and I drank way too much and got very sick in your back seat? It seems like yesterday!
