PATRICIA A FAY Fay

I worked in a variety of different businesses, doing clerical work and accounting. My last position, before I retired, was a collection agency, in Fergus Falls. Because of health issues, I had to retire earlier. I have enjoyed my retirement, and have found that time really flys. Who knew 50 years would go that fast!

I moved with my family, to the Orwell Dam, in 1955. I attended district #i522, a country school, thru 8th grade. I was the only one in my grade. It was in 9th grade, I started in FFHS, graduating in 1966. I didn't have too many friends in high school, as I was quiet and shy. (I was not like my brother, who played in a band). One memory that stands out, is a wintery day, on the school bus after school, and the bus slid into the ditch. A few of the other students and the school bus driver, stayed overnight at the Orwell Dam, with my family, until the roads were plowed. It was good we were within walking distances, to my house.
